My work explores the relationship between social circumstances and midlife subcultures with a focus on fine dining restaurants, food, beverages and the folks that make it.
With influences as diverse as Daniel Krieger, Love of Carnage and Clare Borboza, new combinations are created from both constructed and newly discovered layers.
Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by the unrelenting divergence of meaning. What starts out as vision soon becomes corroded into a cacophony of power, leaving only a sense of what could have been and the prospect of a new order.
As temporal forms become reconfigured through diligent and personal practice, the viewer is left with an epitaph for the inaccuracies of our world.
